dk nutz community art is an artist collective based in milwaukee, wi, that hosts free guided open drawing sessions and happenings that highlight and support lateral learning and sharing. we value decompression via self expression.

co-founded by alec dolter, (the late) thad kellstadt, caitlin rooney and jackie valadez in the winter of 2023. dk nutz community art has since, (2024), welcomed jacob mumford as a core member and facilitator.

we are generously supported by the open fund via the poor farm with funding from the warhol foundation for the visual arts and ruth foundation for the arts.
